How does it work for the Agent?
Q. How do I start?
A. Interested agencies should contact LEAP Business Development at MyLEAPRewardsrepo@leapautoloans.com. LEAP will assign you a unique referral code that we use for tracking referrals. Additionally, we will send you brochures that you can hand out to customers.
Q. Do I need to re-enroll every month?
A. No. Once you have received your referral code, you may continue referring customers to LEAP.
Q. How do we keep track of calls coming to LEAP?
A. We use your agency's unique referral code to track referrals from your shop.
Q. Will I get paid for my efforts?
A. In exchange for introducing your customers to the LEAP program, we have a very good rewards program. We'll give you more details on the multiple components when you contact LEAP at MyLEAPRewards@leapautoloans.com to register for the program.
Q. When will I get paid?
A. Payments are mailed early in the month after the consumer contacts LEAP.
How does it work for the Customer?
Q. When do I distribute the LEAP brochures?
A. There are lots of opportunities to hand out the LEAP brochures. At a minimum, we ask that you display them on your lot for customers to see when they come to pick up their personal property. Many agents include them in their personal property mailings or give them to their agents when making house calls. You may also give them to your skip tracing departments. We have found that agents who proactively hand them out generate more referrals!
Q. What if the customer doesn’t want the car we’ve just picked up but still needs a vehicle?
A. Our first option is to work with the customer and lender to see if we can purchase their current vehicle and lease it back to the consumer. Having said that, we understand that this may not always be possible. In cases where the customer cannot be reinstated in his current car, LEAP can assist the consumer in purchasing a different vehicle.
How does it work for the Lender?
Q. What do the lenders think about the LEAP program?
A. Lenders find value in the LEAP program. It represents a good alternative to auctioning the vehicle. We are pleased to report that we have settled or paid off loans with all of the major lenders. Should you hear of any concerns from your clients, please call us right away. We work hard to maintain strong relationships with lenders and want to address any concerns head on.
